Ordering + Confirmation

All custom orders generally require at least 2 weeks notice, but the sooner the better! I suggest reaching out as soon as you know your event date so I can get you confirmed before availability runs out! It’s never too early to order, but it can certainly be too late!

Anything after the 2-week time frame is considered a RUSH and may be subject to a rush fee, availability permitting.

All custom orders require a non-refundable half-down deposit before finalizing your order and securing your completion date.

YOUR ORDER IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL THE DEPOSIT HAS BEEN MADE.

 Refunds

I can offer refunds up to 24 hours after the payment has been accepted. Unfortunately, after that time, I cannot offer refunds as I have most likely already sourced items for your order. (i.e. cookie cutters, food coloring, sprinkles, packaging, etc.) On the bright side, you get cookies!

 Allergens

All products are produced in a home kitchen that is not subject to state licensure or inspection and that may also process common food allergens, such as tree nuts, peanuts, eggs, soy, wheat, milk, fish, and crustacean shellfish. All products are not intended for resale.

Although I do offer “dairy sensitive” cookies that are made with plant-based butter instead of those containing animal byproduct, I cannot guarantee that your cookies will not come into contact with dairy product or animal byproduct.

I do not offer “gluten free” or “gluten sensitive” cookies at this time.

 Cookie Pick-up

All orders are required to be picked up at my location in Brighton, Colorado. Delivery is available on large orders for a fee based on mileage.

If you have a confirmed order, pick up instructions will be e-mailed to you the week of your cookie pick up date.

Weather Policy

If pickup is impossible due to inclement weather, your order will be kept for 1 week and then discarded if not picked up. Unfortunately, no refunds can be offered due to weather, but I will make sure your order is kept as safe and fresh as possible!

No Show Policy

Need to reschedule your pick-up? No problem! Please reach out 1 day prior to your pickup time so we can make other arrangements.

Not showing up to the agreed upon pick-up time without prior contact, forfeits your order. Don’t worry, I will try my best to donate them to a family in need.

 Storing Your Cookies

Things to keep in mind as you plan pickup for your cookies, and possible storage until the date of your event:

DO NOT KEEP THEM IN YOUR CAR. It is best to take them directly home after pickup! Extreme hot or cold temperatures can ruin the icing on the cookies (i.e. color bleed, melting, and even moisture inside the bag.) The Cookie Coven is not responsible for any damage from storage/handling after pickup.

Your cookies come packaged individually in heat sealed bags. They will stay fresh at room temperature on your counter for up to two weeks. If for some reason you need to store them longer, place them (still in their bags) in an air tight container and place in the freezer. When removing them from the freezer, place the container on your counter and DO NOT open it until the cookies have fully come to room temperature.
